Media & partnerships
The story, and the numbers behind it.
For press, publishers, sponsors, and partners: everything you need to understand The Bedtime Scientist in five minutes, written to be quoted.
The story, in one paragraph
The Bedtime Scientist is a calm, factual science brand for children, built by Josh Fleishman, a father who could not find what his own neurodivergent son needed at bedtime: science that felt safe, predictable, and genuinely calming. It began as a podcast recorded for one listener and grew into a children's media world: a chart-ranking show, a series of six books on Amazon, a printed-and-digital field note for every episode, and an app. One steady voice, no music, no sound effects, real science told in layers, so a four-year-old feels it, an older child learns it, and the grown-up in the doorway is quietly moved. The positioning in one line: where Mr. Rogers meets Carl Sagan, at bedtime.

One world, many doors
Built as a children's media company.
The podcast, the books, the field notes, and the app share one voice, one design language, and one promise: real science, told softly. Each format opens the same world through a different door, and the world is still growing.
Working together
Room for kindred makers.
The show already keeps company with Yoto, and there is room for more: publishers, libraries, schools, museums, and brands that help families slow down. If your audience trusts you with their evenings, we should talk.
