Yoto
Put the show on a Yoto card.
If you have a blank Make Your Own card, you can turn it into a Bedtime Scientist card in about a minute. The show is already in Yoto's library, so there's nothing to upload and no file to go looking for.
What you need
A Yoto Player or a Yoto Mini, a blank Make Your Own card, and the Yoto app on your phone.
- Open the Yoto app and go to Library.
- Swipe along the coloured tabs and choose Podcasts.
- Tap The Bedtime Scientist.
- Tap the three dots in the top right, then Link to a card. There's also a blue Link to a card button at the bottom, underneath the episode list.
- Choose whether to link from your phone or on the player, and follow what it says. When the Make Your Own card goes in, you'll see a red dot, then a green tick.
Take the card out, put it back in, and it starts playing.
Reading this on a laptop? Point your phone's camera at this and the show opens straight in Yoto.
Or open the show on Yoto directly.
What ends up on the card
The card points at the podcast itself rather than a fixed list, so every new episode turns up on it without you doing anything. There are sixty-six so far, and a new one most weeks.
Every episode also has a free Family Guide for the morning after, if the wondering carries on past bedtime.
Something not working? Tell me what happened and I'll help.
Keep them offline
Or put the episodes on the card itself.
The free card streams the show, so it needs Wi-Fi. If you'd rather have episodes that stay on the player, the packs are audio files you load onto a Make Your Own card yourself. Once they've downloaded to the player, they play in the car, at a grandparent's house, or anywhere else the Wi-Fi doesn't reach.
The Complete Collection has every episode through October 29, 2026, in four volumes that each fit on one card, for $39.99. Packs for one subject or one kind of night are $9.99 to $12.99.
These are audio files you keep, for use with Yoto Make Your Own cards. They aren't made by Yoto.
